PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
In collaboration with the City of Milwaukee Environmental Collaboration Office and funded by national partner, Institute for Sustainable Communities, I embarked on a year long project to oversee the creation of 10 new environmental wayfinding signage for Walnut Way's urban farm and landscaping demonstration campus.
In addition, I worked with the City of Milwaukee's ECO Office to support the planning of a neighborhood-wide EcoTour map, in which visitors can take a self-guided tour through the neighborhood.
In addition to the 10 Walnut Way signs, I supported providing content for additional signs throughout the neighborhood for the City of Milwaukee's ECO Office.
To help launch the signage, I organized a paid Historic Milwaukee Tour to showcase the new signage.
GREEN RIBBON CUTTING CEREMONY:
I planned a neighborhood-wide Green Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for neighborhood leaders and dignitaries including Mayor Tom Barrett to celebrate advancements in green infrastructure, clean energy, and community resiliency in Lindsay Heights at Fondy Park.
