PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
Walnut Way converted a restored storefront into a voter registration site on 16th and North Avenue for the presidential 2020 election. I developed a street signage campaign installed on the North Avenue Corridor to give accurate information about voter registration and encourage people to vote. I also developed signage to honor those that lost their lives unjustly due to police brutality and racism. Over 38 signs were designed and installed. The signs will be used as a starting point for a social media campaign.
PRESS CONFERENCE
I worked with Wisconsin Conservation Voices to organize a press conference on National Voter Registration to shine light on voter registration efforts across the community by additional organizations.
